Karl R. Hildabrand
Karl R. Hildabrand is a shareholder who has been in the private practice of law since 1979.
His civil litigation practice includes extensive trial experience in: general liability, motor vehicle law, municipal defense, professional liability, premises liability and insurance law. His clients include individuals, municipalities, insurance carriers, self-insured transportation companies, business entities, corporations and professionals. He routinely practices in the counties throughout Central Pennsylvania.
He represents clients in family law matters including divorce, custody and support. He provides advice and representation with respect to pre-marital planning and pre-marital agreements.
He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harold E. Sheely of the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas from 1978 to 1979.
He practiced for three years with a leading litigation firm in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and for twenty years thereafter with a major Harrisburg litigation firm where he managed the firms insurance defense practice and family law practice groups. He was then a partner for ten years in a Hershey law firm.
He is Board-certified in civil trial law and advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the accrediting agency approved by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He has spoken on various aspects of the law to public groups, attorneys, paralegals and insurance carriers. He has participated as a judge in the Moot Court programs of both the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and Widener School of Law.
